Reception Honoring Nobel Laureate Professor Harold Kroto

The graduate students at the University of Cincinnati are organizing a special event for Nobel Laureate Professor Harold Kroto of the Florida State University. His visit concludes with a buffet style banquet in his honor which will be held on Friday, April 11th, 2008.
Program:
5:00 – 6:00pm Registration and Cocktail Hour (cash bar).
6:00 – 7:30pm Dinner: A buffet dinner to include Steamship Round of Beef, Breast of Chicken Marsala, Vegetable Lasagna, Garden Salad, Caesar Salad, Herb-Roasted Vegetables, Roasted Redskin Potatoes, Sponge Cake with Fruit, German Chocolate Cake, Coffee and Iced Tea.
7:30 – 8:30pm Presentation: Professor Harold Kroto, Florida Sate University. “My ‘world’ Line”.
Registration: Please register by sending an email to Sayandev Chatterjee at rasayan@gmail.com. The banquet will be limited to 100 guests. The cost for Students is $5, and others $10 to be collected at the door.

Dr. Kroto will also give a seminar entitled “Science, Society, and Sustainability” on Thursday April 10th at 4:30pm in the Zimmer Auditorium with a reception following in the Zimmer Roof Garden.
