Register Now for the Picnic!
Ask family and friends to join you as summer comes to an end and we start up a new school year. Re-connect with ACS friends and make new ones in a relaxed and casual atmosphere. At this event, we will have family friendly Chemistry Demos, a Bounce House, games, Corn Hole Tournament, and a Networking Fair! This year we are featuring Like Minds, a jazz/blues rock fusion band.
1 - 2 PM: Informal networking session highlighting some of the ways to get involved and connect with colleagues who share your interests.
2 – 4 PM: Food/Potluck:. The section will provide grilled hot dogs, hamburgers, brats, metts, chicken, baked beans, Mac n Cheese, potato salad, and chips from Cincinnati Catering. Drinks will be provided, including beer, soft drinks, and juice boxes. Veggie burgers available upon request.
3 – 5 PM: Like Minds Band – blues/jazz and rock fusion
What if you want to bring something?
Attendees are cordially invited to bring a picnic dish to share (consider ~6 adult servings). If possible, please note ingredients, like “contains nuts” or “gluten-free” to aid those with dietary restrictions. Members with last names beginning with A-M are asked to bring a side dish, while those with last names starting with N-Z are asked to bring a dessert.
Networking Fair Information
Trying to figure out how to getting involved? Want to meeting other local students chemistry groups? Meet some industry members? Reconnect with retirees? At the Friends and Family Picnic we will have a Networking Fair with many local groups showcasing how to get involved and wanting to make some real connections. Want to sign up for a booth? Please contact coordinator Sheeniza Shaw.
$15 for regular members ($20 for regular members with their family or friends); $10 for retired and K-12 teachers members ($15 retired and K-12 teachers members with their family or friends); and $5 for unemployed and student affiliates.

From I-275 East: Take the Colerain Avenue exit and go north on Colerain (US 27) for about 2.5 miles. Take the Kemper Road exit and turn right onto Kemper. Germania Park is on the right after about 1.3 miles.
From I-275 West: Take exit #36 toward Mt. Healthy. Turn right onto Hamilton Avenue (US 127) and go north about 0.8 miles. Turn left onto West Kemper Road. Germania Park is on the left after 1.6 miles.
